David Martin Partner Letters Leave a Comment

Greetings,

This letter is an answer to prayer for anyone who desires to see more answers to their prayers.  In these two pages, It is my desire to give you an overview of what God has given me as a supernatural methodology/technique, but also to offer you a free CD that will go into much more detail about the process.

You quite probably have heard me teach on this over the last couple of years, but like all messages, they get better with time, as God gives increased understanding, revelations and insights.

The first key point to solidify is knowing that God’s Word is absolute truth. I’m confident that this is a known fact for you. With this truth in place, we can then look at a specific foundational scripture.

This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him. I John 5:14-15

I underlined the two significant truths of importance; essentially He is telling us that He wants us to have a confidence in our prayers and know that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears the prayers. Then secondly, He wants us to know that He has answered our prayers, it’s a done deal! The key here is that we know we have what we asked for in faith.

The problem for us is exactly what Jesus said to the Nobleman who came to Him and wanted Him to visit his house and pray for his dying child. Jesus said to him, “Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe.” John 4:48. The seeing Jesus is referencing natural seeing as opposed to supernatural/spiritual seeing. So often, because we can’t see the answer immediately, we get distracted (double minded) by seeing and thinking about the problems.

When we know that God has heard and answered our prayers, we need to purpose to see it as done in the spiritual realm. This is what the Word is teaching us through Abraham, our Father of faith, about operating in the supernatural; (as it is written, “A father of many nations have I made you”) in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist.” Romans 4:17

Essentially, what we need to learn to do is bring the reality of the unseen into the usable and touchable seen/natural realm.  This really is an easy process once you purpose to be faithful to the instruction.  It does require however a persistent diligence over the course of time to apply the proven principle, which will bring the result of more answered prayers. This applied diligence is going to relate to the thoughts you think, the words you speak, the imaginations/visualizations of your mind, and the attitude of your heart.

This is where most people miss the operations of the supernatural: they either don’t know how to apply God’s Word, understand the process, or most significantly are double minded.  With the limited space for this letter, I will just lightly touch on the supernatural process, which for me was a great revelation, as I’ve never heard anybody teach this concept. But before going there, let’s look at the biggest problem of being double minded, as we know the Bible says, “For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” James 1:7

The opposite of being double minded would be to be single minded. To be singled minded is knowing that the moment you prayed in faith according to God’s will (His Word,) He heard your prayer and answered your prayer. You don’t have to ask Him again and again, that puts you into double mindedness and doubt.  You have to know that He’s heard and answered your prayer. From the moment you pray in faith for whatever you are asking of God, you need to be thanking Him for the answer and speaking the answer, which is calling into the natural realm what is already done in the spiritual realm.

Now the revelation side of this focuses on knowing that you are made in the image of God, and just as He creates, so do you. We can see this pattern of creation in Genesis with each day of creation. What we see is three distinct elements which include; saying, seeing and feeling, or more literally faith, hope and love.

As we look at each day of creation, the same pattern is revealed. God said, God saw, and it was good! This is exactly what you and I need to do. We say what we have asked for in prayer (the answer), we see through the mind’s eyes what we are creating (have asked for in prayer). Then very significantly like the third leg of a stool, we feel the joy (gratitude and thanksgiving) of having that which we’ve asked for in faith, knowing He’s heard and answered our prayers.

I know this is only touching on the process, but I can promise you that it works incredibly well. Two months ago, I taught this lesson at the Living Word International Church in Monmouth, Illinois. While there, we went through this process and wrote down a number of examples of individual answers to prayer, which I call “The Pictured End.” This last month, I was back there and heard one man’s testimony of how God specifically answered his prayer, just as we wrote it out two months previously.

For him, it was a new Job, close to home with more pay and better benefits. From the time we wrote the answer out, he continued to declare the answer by speaking it and thanking God for His answer, and God gave him exactly what he created by faith. It will work for you too, as you too are made in the image of God. He did say it was a challenge at times and discouragement tried its best to get him to doubt, but he persisted in faith, and it worked!

I highly encourage you to get the whole teaching about this from my teaching in Monmouth, IL.   It’s free for the asking. If you can include a special offering, it would be most appreciated, as we continue to stretch our tent pegs out further and further around the world.

Your Supernatural Friend and Partner in Christ,

David
