| Greetings,
In Mark 16:20 it says; “And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the word by the signs that followed.” The word “signs” in the Greek is sēmeíon, and the definition is, “Miracles which lead to something out of and beyond themselves; finger-marks of God, valuable not so much for what they are as for what they indicate of the grace and power of the Doer.” In the NASB version of the Bible there is a cross reference definition of the word “signs,” it means, “Attesting miracles.” Miracles glorify God, and as the definition says, they indicate His grace and power. All this I said to encourage you to step out of the boat and share God’s Word with an expectation of signs, wonders and miracles to follow all which are designed to glorify God. Yesterday, one of the ladies in our office had an emergency; her fiancée had an apparent stroke, and his entire left side was paralyzed, he was in pain and could hardly breath. Immediately, we prayed for him over the speaker on her cell phone, and he was instantly healed. This is the kind of testimony you can expect to hear more and more with the season of miracles we have entered. Tonight at 8 pm CDT, on my weekly Call/Webinar, we’ll be continuing with our series on “Faith and Authority,” with an emphasis on the first 10 miracles which Jesus did, almost all of which were done with the spoken word. We will pick up on where we left off in looking at the Centurion’s miracle (number 10) where he said, “You don’t have to come to my house, just speak the word, and my servant will be healed.” As we’ve looked at in previous weeks, the centurion understood delegated authority. He had a revelation and understanding of the workings of God so much so that Jesus said He’d not seen such great faith in all of Israel. We know scripturally that faith comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God, (Romans 10:17,) but let’s go beyond normal/regular or common faith into great faith. My heart’s goal and spiritual ambition is to help you go beyond into the fullness of the life that God has planned for you and consider it an honor to speak into your life and pray for you as well. Tonight I’m privileged to do both, teach and pray for miracles. In addition to looking at the first ten miracles of Jesus tonight, most all of which surely fed into the Centurions faith, we’ll have a time of praying for miracles. As the scripture in Mark says, “The Lord confirmed the Word with signs following.” Join us tonight for a teaching that will build your faith, then expect to receive a miracle. Your miracle may be physical, financial, relationship related, deliverance from an addiction or a spiritual force or something else; but for sure God’s presence will be with us with signs, wonders and miracles.
