We are continuing in one of my most favorite timeless classic teachings on, “The Basis of Great Faith.” As was introduced last week our new teaching format is to limit the time of the program to under 35 minutes. Tonight’s 32-minute lesson focuses on what the Centurion heard which was one of the primary impetuses that set the stage of his faith that Jesus identified as, “Great Faith.” An interesting aspect of this miracle is the uniqueness of what the Centurion said, “You don’t have to come to my house to heal my servant, just speak the world and he’ll be healed.” What we also see is a verbatim disclosure of his faith in that he repeats the very spoken words that Jesus used for the first three healings, “Go, come and do.” There’s so much incredible revelation within this great Bible story and what many believe to be Jesus’s tenth miracle. We’ll introduce so of this tonight but it’s going to take us a number of lessons to unpack all of the revelatory truth found in this miracle that caused Jesus to marvel and declare that he’d not sure such great faith in all of Israel. As we know from the Word, “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” Romans 10:17. As we’ll see from this study what the Centurion heard is virtually every miracle from the first to the ninth miracle was done by the spoken Word. What Jesus was about to introduce to the Centurion and the community at large was a new technique of healing, “The laying on of hands.” The Centurion in humility said, “You don’t have to do that, all you have to do is speak the word and my servant will be healed. Hopefully, after you hear this teaching you’ll be more confident and bold with your spoken word decrees and be far more effective in impacting the Kingdom of God.

Our vision is to see over 100 million souls saved, discipled and serving God
