I was entering a military training exercise in the Army. We had to go through an area to pick up our gear. We were going to be in the field for a while. We were picking up our gear, but I didn’t know what I was supposed to get. I realized after everything was picked up I forgot a blanket, a second duffel bag. There was also some other items I realized I didn’t have. We did not have a checklist. At the time I didn’t tell anyone I didn’t have everything required for the exercise. I should have told my commanding officer, and I didn’t. I wasn’t ready, and I was in trouble.
This is what the Lord told me:
The military exercise represents the body of Christ as we enter the work of the Lord in the mission field. The gear is the equipment we need to perform our job.
(Note: When I received this dream I wrote it down right away, but at the time had no idea what it meant).
The trigger word for this dream was I was missing a blanket. This is what I need to perform my job in Christ. I receive prophetic dreams, but my memory has been very poor. A lot of my dreams have been fragments, and I never sought help for it. I reached out to Jocelyne Hankins from Dave Martin Ministries yesterday and told her what was going on. The Lord even used other people; (spirit filled) who gave me dreams they had to interpret. What is so amazing is some of the trigger words of their dreams are what I have received from the Lord. He has blessed me with a very powerful gift and He wants His word to go forward in the prophetic; especially with the Church. In the dream I didn’t seek help to make sure I was fully equipped. I needed prayer from others and to add this to my own prayer list.
