08-27-19 Dealing with Terror, Evil and Wickedness Part 3

Tonight’s program is a continuation of “Dealing with Terror, Evil and Wickedness Part Three.” The primary focus to the message is spiritual warfare in how the devil vehemently attacks anyone who’s a threat to his kingdom. Hopefully, you are which is why you’re reading this. We must know the reality of the battle and refuse to give in, give up or get discouraged as what the devil means for bad God will always use for good. During the battle, we often wonder why God is allowing such an attack as we’ve done all we know to correctly, and it seems that God is turning a deaf ear to our prayers and circumstances. The reality is quite different, but when you’re in the battle it can be hard to see beyond the daily challenges. If this speaks to you at all, you’ll be blessed and benefit from this message. A key aspect of truth presented is from James, where he says, “Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” James 1:2-4 (NASB) From this verse, we see that the challenges/problems of life are for our benefit as they have a benefit of endurance. I refer to this as a spiritual muscle which gives us the strength to take on even greater adversaries. Or more accurately, promotable in God’s eyes as He’ll never allow us to go beyond our ability to stand and win against the adversary. As much as we may not like the discomforts of God’s ways, they are always best for us, and His reality is that through them we are stronger and more promotable to the next level of our spiritual journey. You’ll enjoy David’s testimony and application to what he teaches. This last week has been great in challenges for him with all the symptoms of a heart attack that put me in the hospital for three days. Having the experience at 70 mph on the highway and living through it is a testimony of God’s grace. It’s hard to describe the feeling of disorientation/confusion and only by God’s grace was I able to exit safely. Then to be greeted by what appeared to be two angels (appearing as ladies praying) were able to look after him and call 911. The EMT’s said his blood pressure was over 200 and with all the symptoms of a heart attack, the Priority One Heart Trauma team greeted him and started their barrage of testing. After three days in the hospital and every heart test they had including an EKG, X-Ray, MRI, Cat Scan, extensive blood tests and a chemically induced stress test with an isotype scan, every part of his brain and heart proved to be in good health. Since the incident, my blood pressure is a bit elevated which is under evaluation but bottom line, he’s healthy and continuing to fight the fight of faith with the joy of the Lord. This combined with the ongoing incredible saga of car issues that started in January and continues through today has allowed me to walk out this message. I want to say it’s a “cakewalk,” but the reality is it is a constant battle in the mind with the bombardment of the enemy’s thoughts. This message will be a blessing to you, but most importantly, you’ll gain some insightful strategy in fighting the good fight of faith and be encouraged in the knowledge that you’re not alone in whatever you may be going through. The body of Christ is under significant attack, and those pressing into God are going through trials for promotion for the greatest move of God ever with an incredible harvest of souls.
