08-20-19 Dealing with Terror Part Two

A continuation of last weeks video on, “Dealing with Terror, Evil and Wickedness.” The underlying theme of the message is regardless of what things look like in the natural we win. We are victorious overcomers, and as much as the devil is raising his ugly head in these last days, we read the end of the book, and we win. More than ever, we need to know the Word of God and how to effectively wield the sword of the Spirit and how fast to the shield of faith. A major emphasis of the teaching is pulled from Paul’s admonitions to Timothy regarding being prepared for the latter times and what the signs of the time would be. An interesting segment of the program is on understanding the ancient combat sports of wrestling and boxing. The importance of this is few Christians understand the viciousness of the tenacity and determination of the spiritual wickedness which we are engaged. Paul says, “we wrestle not against flesh and blood.” Unfortunately, we look at this with a modern understanding of wrestling, which is quite different from Pauls day. You’ll be shocked to hear the difference, but you’ll have more insight into the reality of the battle. Another key element of the message is how we need to know our spiritual authority and the power given to us. David shares an interesting story of how God gave him the mandate to claim Harlem New York for the glory of God. The devil, immediately within minutes of the declaration, had thugs break into the van parked in front of the church in Harlem. Although the thieves cleaned out the van of our belongings, he discovered the Word if you catch a thief demand sevenfold in return and his house. What happened was remarkable in getting the return and how from that day forward, Harlem began a turn around that brought then into a renaissance. David’s part was a small one, but one part none the less but the spiritual authority given was demonstrated 12 years later with cursing a totem pole in the foyer of the new Harlem Tabernacle which shared the foyer with Epitaph of Humanities and within hours it what hauled out of the building as trash. Authority and power demonstrated are not unique to any one person but common to all who believe and more than ever we need to know our authority and walk in it to a point the devil is afraid of us and we have him on the run instead of us being pursue by him. This message will empower, encourage, and enlighten you to the reality of what’s happening in the spiritual realm. Although the attacks against the body of Christ are at an all-time high, we win and are taking back what has been stolen from us.
